The Joy of Knowing Pete

‘The Joy of Knowing Pete: Much was said, yet no words spoken’ was published in June. I look back in the teenage years of our younger son who had Down’s syndrome and profound and multiple learning disabilities. In his short life, he had a positive influence on those he met, enjoying music, friendships and celebrations. He had several health needs throughout his life. He suffered severe strokes just before his 18th birthday. He was supported to live as full a life as possible in his final months.
