Hello all,
The Challenging Behaviour Foundation are leading on an exciting new project with support from SF-DDARIN. We would love to hear the views of family carers who have a relative with a learning disability on the best way that we can carry out this project so that it is as accessible and useful as possible. We would be really grateful if you could share this information with your family carer networks!
This work is known as the Research Engagement, Access and Dissemination (READ) project. The READ project aims to increase the availability and accessibility of research publications and findings to family caregivers. The project will:
- Generate engaging and accessible research summaries of key publications (both new and important older articles)
- Highlight key learning points from the studies and how they can be put into practice
The CBF and SF-DDARIN are working together with a family carer to develop the project.
The first step in this project is understanding whether family carers think this would be a beneficial project, and what are the best ways that we can create and share the accessible research resources. Therefore, we are keen to hear family carers’ views.
Here is the link to the survey: bit.ly/3YORCIA
The survey will be open until Sunday 10th November. Thanks in advance, your views will help us develop and shape the project so that it benefits family caregivers as much as possible.
If you have any questions, or would prefer to complete the survey via telephone or video call, contact the Challenging Behaviour Foundation atImarni.Hill@thecbf.org.uk or 01634 838739.
