Sexuality and Learning Disabilities

The sexual lives of people with learning disabilities are often overlooked, even by their families and those who care for them – many are worried about ‘getting it wrong’, or they find the topic too uncomfortable, and therefore prefer to leave a ‘can of worms’ unopened.

Such worries are ok, but ignoring this important aspect of a person’s life is not, nor does it make it go away. This new edition of Sexuality and Learning Disabilities is intended for anyone working with people with learning disabilities, including students or family members, who feel they need guidance in this area.
