This is an updated easy read leaflet from the NHS about bowel cancer screening, developed by and for people with a learning disability.
The easy read leaflet is for people with a learning disability to help explain bowel cancer screening and also for use by healthcare professionals, their family and carers.
Anyone aged 56 to 74, lowering to 50 by 2025, who lives in England and is registered with a GP practice will be sent a test in the post automatically, every two years.

- deciding whether to do the test
- doing the screening test

- keeping your bowel healthy
- when you should go to your doctor
