This is an updated easy read leaflet from the NHS about bowel cancer screening, developed by and for people with a learning disability.

The easy read leaflet is for people with a learning disability to help explain bowel cancer screening and also for use by healthcare professionals, their family and carers.

Anyone aged 60 to 74, who lives in England and is registered with a GP practice will be sent a test in the post automatically, every two years. Some people aged over 50 will also receive a test as the NHS England is also extending this to include all 50 to 59 year-olds by 2025.
