The RIX multi me toolkit
These are fantastic tools.
They should however be free to the individuals with learning disabilities and their carers.
Many areas in the country, especially Suffolk, has nothing for these beautiful individuals.
They reach 18, and everything stops, including therapies and contacts.
They’re forgotten about. Their carers are left to struggle along without the knowledge, making life even more difficult for them.
Please look into how this could be possible and make NHS chief executives aware so this could be added to the compulsory training on non-verbal disabled people
Completely agree Chantel the difficulty is getting buy in across the board… should be bought in by ICBs and given to people free
