Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP), Band 6, 0.5 WTE

This post will be based at Little Plumstead Hospital, Norwich. and part of a service for people with learning or developmental disabilities and mental health problems. The main responsibilities are to assist in identifying mental health and learning disability service users eligible to take part in a range of research projects, and to provide information and support for users involved in research projects. The post holder will also collect data and contribute to coordinating aspects of research projects. In some projects this may involve the post-holder ensuring that patient’s care and treatment, assessment, follow-up and data collection are co-ordinated according to the appropriate research protocols. This will involve close liaison with mental health and social care and primary care services including both psychiatric units and community settings, as well as with appropriate Research & Development Departments and with Clinical Nurse Specialists.
